Buckeye Lake is the perfect starting point to discover a wealth of golf courses! Within a 5-20 minute drive, you will find courses that make a day on the green pure pleasure. Stay close to the water at Harbor Hills or venture out to Granville to visit the Denison Golf Club. Want a break from the clubs? Switch to a disc and head to Evans Park. Life on the water is a large part of what makes life here so wonderful. Enjoy watersports of all varieties - launch your boat at nine public boat ramps. The Lake is designated as an unlimited horsepower lake, but it's common to see boats of all types on the water. Bring out your sailboat, pontoon, kayak or canoe.
The extensive work of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources has been integral in the the rebirth of Buckeye Lake State Park, the State of Ohio's Oldest State Park.
